Account Executive Dallas

We are a Hispanic television broadcasting company seeking an energetic and dynamic sales professional to manage, maintain, grow and develop local advertising activity for the station while reporting to VP/ GM and/or Sales Manager. Additionally, you will perform the following duties:

  • Achieve revenue/budgets set by Sales Manager
  • Retain and grown existing account base
  • Develop new advertisers
  • Retain business and grow share
  • Prepare sales orders and production requests in timely manner
  • Resolve billing discrepancies
  • Keep Accounts Receivable current
  • Provide timely and accurate sales progress reports
  • Build and strengthen client relationships
     
    Qualifications:
    ·            Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field preferred
    ·            3+ years experience in TV, radio or cable TV sales and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
    ·            Proven successful sales record
    ·            Excellent communication skills
    ·            Self starter, highly motivated and goal oriented
    ·            Ability to think strategically and orderly
    ·            Excellent understanding of quantitative and qualitative research ( NSI / NHSI )
    ·            Extensive experience in agency and local direct business
    ·            Computer literate, excellent knowledge of all Windows applications
    ·            Great understanding of traffic and inventory systems a must
    ·            Bilingual preferred
    ·            Hispanic television experience preferred

Account Executive Phoenix

We are currently seeking a dynamic and energetic individual to join our ranks as an Account Executive in Phoenix. This individual will manage and develop sales activities by performing the following duties:

  • Meet revenue expectations according to your budget or to the General Manager's expectations
  • Provide weekly sales reports required by the GM
  • Attend sales meetings as required by the GM
  • Occasionally assist in station's events with set up and on-site presence
  • Prepare all sales orders & instructions for entry into the traffic system
  • Maintain orders in terms of make goods
  • Ensure the billing is correct before invoices are mailed to your clients
  • Maintain your aging in good terms

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years outside sales experience (generating leads, cold calling, prospecting, presentations and sales negotiation and closing the sale)
  • 2+ years experience selling media, advertising or television commercial services
  • 2+ years managing a range of accounts (small, medium and large companies)
  • Excellent negotiation and sales capabilities
  • MUST be bilingual (Spanish and English)
